Finovative Solutions was founded by Doug Young and Dominic Del Balso, two seasoned IT professionals who have spent their careers building innovative and effective solutions and strategies that helped to mold the relationship between finance and technology. Finovative Solutions is prepared to guide your financial institution by offering:

Dominic Del Balso is the CTO of Finovative Solutions. Dominic brings vast experience designing major financial networks, creating high performance teams, and executing long term strategic plans for financial institutions.Dominic has built data centers from the ground up, and also holds a CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert)  certification from Cisco. Dominic maintains an expert level of certification.

Doug Young is the CIO of Finovative Solutions. Doug has spent decades of his career as a transformative leader in IT organizations across the country. With an established track record of serving in major leadership roles at both large and small financial institutions, Doug has a unique understanding of the specific challenges that different banks and credit unions face. Doug works to ensure that Finovative Solutions provides cutting edge, innovative, and thorough strategies and solutions to clients.

Kristen leads creative at CoLabs with a steady hand and a sharp eye, shaping brands, campaigns, and digital experiences that are cohesive, strategic, and grounded in real business objectives.

An award-winning creative with a background in branding, UX, and marketing, she connects vision to execution with clarity and precision. Her philosophy is simple: beautiful design is only powerful if it works. Aesthetic without intention is decoration. The best work aligns beauty and function.

Kristen blends creative instinct with structured thinking. She sees the big picture and the smallest details, asking sharper questions and simplifying what feels complex. She cares deeply about clarity, alignment, and doing the work the right way the first time.

Outside of CoLabs, creativity doesn’t turn off. You’ll find her painting, cooking, tending her garden, crafting, or catching live music whenever she can. Curiosity and craft are not separate from her work; they inform it.
